Other AbstractThis paper presented an unsupervised texture segmentation algorithm utilizing n (En1pi cal Mode Decomposition) refined quatemlonic spt The innovations include:first,2-D se 哪.bIe EMD algorithm was utilized to enhance the separability of features infrequency—domain;second,a quatemionic Gaborfalter bank was designed to extract analytic features;at last,a novel validity function of FGM(Fuzzy C—Means Clustering)wa8 introduced to realize unsupervised texture segmentation.Experiment results indicate that this method explores a reasonable way to use EMD and quatemionic spectrum analysis in image processing
