Other AbstractWe presented a noveI and fast convergent skeIeton snake modeI based on gradient vector fIow( GVF) . FirstIy, we found the skeIeton of the object using the property of externaI forces in the concavityg SecondIy, we modified the direction and magnitude of the externaI forces at these points of skeIeton so as to converge fast. Our aIgorithm is better than GVF aIgorithm in convergent speed and suits deep boundary concavities.
