Other Abstractr eal-time obstacle-avo idance synthesized method based on visual info rmat ion for a bionic ro bot fish is pr esent ed. In this m ethod, ba sed o n HIS color mo del, quick imag e pr ocessing is achieved by using of MM X a nd SSE inst ructio ns as well a s para llel pr ocessing algo rit hm. An accurat e env ir onment model is established based o n the gr ids metho d. And some optim al strat egies of the path -planning ar e o bta ined utilizing the po tential field method. The mot ion o rient atio n and speed o f the fish ar e co ntro lled by the fuzzy metho d and the speed distribut ion functio n respect ively . Ex per imental results show t hat this method is efficient and attainable.
