摘要
In this paper, we apply the operator model presented in Part 1 of this paper as a virtual subject to evaluate alarm systems for a boiler plant simulator. The virtual subject automatically produces the track of fault detection and identification (FDI) in emergencies. We evaluate the FDI performances after causing the assumed malfunctions, and subsequently improve alarm settings. The results of this case study demonstrate the usefulness of the model-based dynamic evaluation method.
