This paper is an overall summary of the research of WBRRMS (Web Based Remote Real-time Monitoring System). First, the concept and significance of WBRRMS are presented. The requirement of WBRRMS is analyzed too. In chapter 2, the feasibility is discussed. Chapter 3 mainly focuses on the data transport service of Internet. The advantage and disadvantage of TCP and UDP relative to WBRRMS is analyzed. Based on the research in chapter 3, two data communication strategy for WBRRMS is introduced in chapter 4. Moreover, the author's algorithm, UBDCMS, is introduced too. UBDCMS is the shortest delay algorithm for WBRRMS. In the last chapter, the design and some programming tips are summarized. In a word, this paper is an overall research on WBRRMS. It includes the concept, requirement analysis and feasibility analysis of WBRRMS. Then the data transport service of Internet is analyzed and the author's algorithm is introduced. At last, the implementation of WBRRMS is presented. In the appendix, some of the author's creative work for the 9th national five-year key project, Control and Computer Application Technology for Key Petrochemical Production System, is introduced.
