Abstract近年来,射频识别技术(Radio Frequency Identification,简称RFID)成为研究和应用热点,其应用非常广泛,涉及物流行业,制造业,资产管理,人员跟踪监控等多个领域。在较大规模RFID技术的应用中,首先需要解决的关键问题是如何实现多种类型的RFID读写器与企业应用系统的连接,以及如何高效地将数据传送到企业后端系统,即,RFID应用的实施需要通用软件--RFID中间件的支撑,这也是本文研究的核心内容。 本文的研究内容如下: 1.分析RFID中间件发展现状,对比现有的RFID中间件及其特点。 由于RFID中间件刚刚兴起,而且其概念含义尚不明确,RFID中间件出现了百家争鸣的局面。很多大型公司,如微软、IBM,大型研究机构,如EPCglobal都纷纷对RFID中间件或作了产品开发,或提出了标准草案。文中总结RFID中间件发展现状,并对多家国际国内的RFID中间件在功能或者结构方面进行了对比。 2.RFID中间件的主要功能研究 RFID中间件的主要功能可以简单概括为:支持多种RFID读写器并提供设备管理,事件处理(数据处理)和应用集成。第一项是RFID技术得以应用的基础,尤其是在分布式应用环境中;第二项是RFID中间件的核心功能,主要实现巨量RFID数据的实时传输和快速响应,巨量RFID历史数据的管理和数据挖掘;最后一项为各种可能的应用需求提供统一应用接口,为实现各种数据传输需求提供支持。 3.RFID中间件的需求分析和设计研究 文章针对RFID集中式应用提出了RFID中间件原型系统的需求分析和设计。分析设计此原型系统的目的在于包容RFID中间件的基本功能和核心功能,验证RFID中间件实现的关键技术。同时,实现了该原型系统的基本功能和核心功能后,也可以很方便地将该原型系统扩展为分布式应用软件的基本功能和核心功能。
Other AbstractRecently, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) has been a hot topic of research and application. RFID has found its application in many fields, such as supply chain and logistics, manufacturing, assets management, people tracking and monitoring, etc. In the large scale applications of RFID, the key point is to connect RFID readers from various manufacturers to the enterprise application clients, and how to transfer RFID data to the enterprise back end system. That means RFID application needs support of general software—RFID Middleware, which is the content of this thesis. The contents of this thesis are as follows. 1 Analyze the state-of-the-art about RFID Middleware, and compare the existing RFID Middlewares and their features. For RFID Middleware is just at its beginning and its concept is not clear enough, many organizations researching RFID technology present their own views. Companies, such as Microsoft and IBM, Research Groups, such as EPCGlobal, all have contributed to the RFID Middleware in the manner of product or standard draft. Followed the summarization of current research state on RFID Middlewares, different RFID Middlewares from both home and abroad have been analyzed and compared in the aspects of functions and architectures in this article. 2 Research on RFID Middleware functions The functions of RFID Middleware could be summarized as three points: supports many kinds of RFID readers and device management, events process (e.g. data process), application integration. The first is the basis of RFID application, especially in the distributed applications; the second is the core of the RFID Middleware, dealing with real time transmitting and response of data, management of large volume of historic RFID data and data mining; and the last item provides unified interfaces for all possible application requirements, and supports various data transmission requirements. 3 Requirements analysis and design of RFID Middleware To the centralized RFID application, this thesis presents the requirements analysis and design of an RFID Middleware proto-type system. Our aim is to use this proto-type system to contain the primary and core functions, and testify the possible technology for RFID Middleware implementation.
