Other AbstractDepth of field ( DOF) is an important research direction of computer vision, which plays an important role in photorealistic image rendering and enhancement of depth perception. In order to improve the rendering quality of DOF and the rendering speed for real - time applications, this paper presents a real -time DOF rendering method using fast guided filtering. The method perfonns differently in different area of the scene. It uses image inpainting and a - channel mixture to achieve partial occlusion effect. The experimental results in several complex scenarios show that this method can quickly render high quality pictures of DOF and can avoid the problem of strength leakage and blurring discontinuity effectively.
