With the constant development in the research field of watermarking and comprehensive commercial attention on watermarking, watermarking technology has been applied into actual application to some degree. In this paper, based on the actual application, we have done some comprehensive research and discussion on watermarking, and proposed some new watermarking schemes and solution systems for our actual application as following: 1. For the print-and-scan application, we proposed a predictive-based non-blind watermarking technology. After that, theoretical analysis based on matrix theory and computation technology has been put forwarded to analyze the robustness of non-blind robust watermarking technology. From this theoretical analysis, we can choose the most robust watermarking technology directly by comparing some mathematics characteristics. 2. For the application on national digital library, we proposed an improved spread spectrum blind watermarking, which has better performance than normal spread spectrum blind watermarking. Based on the analysis of watermarking embedding and optimal detector, we decrease the effect, which is done by original media, to the detector so that our scheme can be made some improvement. 3. With the necessity of fragile watermarking on national digital library, we propose some fragile watermarking schemes. Firstly, feature-based fragile watermarking framework has been proposed, and a moment invariants based fragile watermarking has been put forwarded on the basis of this framework. Then, we proposed an improved block dependent fragile image watermarking and a statistic property based fragile watermarking.
